It Rained Today!

Beautiful, beautiful rain,

Out the sky it came,

The clouds were dark,

The sky was grey,

Suddenly it poured to say,

Let everything be refreshed,

Grass be green and flowers dressed,

The buds come out,

And into bloom,

Rain does it all about.

I love the rain,

The sun shines and droplets sparkle,

Like crystal cleaned again,

The air is fresh, roads are clean,

Washed away is natures pain,

Renewed, in beauty supreme.
