Rain (Poems)
Updated: Jan 12, 2020
Renew us, refresh us, nourish us,
with the pounding of the rain.
The rumble of the thunder rolling
across the darkened night sky.
Trees with branches dancing
in worship and praise
Rejoicing at God's abundance
as rain has not come for many,
many, many days!
The Bougainvillea waving along the back fence,
glistening a brilliant pink, full and dense.
It is a sweet joy to hear the sound
of rain on the patio roof,
As God's goodness pours down.
