The Gift of Life

The Lord gives the gift of life,

Day and month and years to fill,

Carrying out the hopes and plans,

That the Father ordained for that life span,

He furnished that life with precious gifts,

Surrounding us with family and friends,

Providing caring people with time to spend,

Richness and beauty, love and joy,

With them our gifts we employ,

Such a life lived within your plan,

Brings love and praise to God,

And blessings to woman and man.
